Adventures in (R)Adelaide

We’re back from Adelaide and after spending nine months in Hobart, Adelaide seemed as large as London and as cosmopolitan as Stockholm. I think Adelaide needs to be renamed the ‘city of restaurants’ rather than ‘churches’. We highly recommend the pizza at the Good Life Pizza Bar in Glenelg, best pizza ever and all organic too! Don’t suppose they deliver to Hobart? For quality/price/variety we haven’t found anywhere better for food than Adelaide. We had a great time catching up with family, hanging out at the beach/markets/in the hammock and buying the all important ‘not a wedding’ dress. Luckily for us the weather stayed under 30 as we melt in anything higher and have to spend the entire time laying under trees in the shade.

With our great love of food it can’t be any surprise that we almost missed our connecting flight in Melbourne because we just HAD to try Krispy Kreme doughnuts for the first time. Mmmmm doughnuts.

So now we’re back home, refreshed and ready for another round of renovating. The last staple has been pulled, the sander booked for the weekend and time for the next project to begin. What shall I do next? Finish the dining/kitchen windows? bathroom skirting boards? finishing touches to the living room paint? Hallway trims and doors? Cup of tea?
